NON-ADHESIVE BOOKBINDING

September - October 2017

During my exchange in Tartu Art College, I took part in a course focusing on non-adhesive bookbinding methods. I got acquainted with six different traditional binding methods that I applied into six self-made notebooks. The covers are made with decorative cardboard and the backs are supported with thicker cardboard ribbons. The notebook with spiral sewing has also leather bands on it. This course was very enjoyable and I gained much new information and techniques. I gained brand new passion for books.
