ADVANCED DIGITAL TOOLS FOR HERITAGE CONSERVATION
I took part in a 15 credit Master's course called Advanced Digital Tools in Heritage Conservation, offered by the Department of Conservation in University of Gothenburg. During the course I learned how the 3D scan artefacts using Sfm (Structure from motion) photogrammetry. The process involved structured photographing, cleaning and processing the data in Agisoft Metashape programme to create high quality 3D models with accurate details.
I also worked with the Maya modelling software in creating 3D models from scratch. My end product was a virtual interactive game for PC that functioned as a project repository. I used Unity Game Engine to create a virtual environment where all my digital models were displayed.
